What is menstrual cycle coaching?

Coaching is a process where an experienced person supports their client to change in ways that they really want. In our sessions I will support you to explore what in your life affects your menstrual cycle and how your menstrual cycle is affecting your life, to help you make the changes you really want.

We will work in partnership. Having a coach is a mix between having an accountability partner and a cheerleader! To get the best results you will need to be open and committed to experimenting with different tools and techniques. I believe in an integrative approach to health and wellbeing, menstrual cycle coaching is not an alternative to general medicine but rather a complimentary therapy.

What to expect from a session?

Once you have booked a session I will send you a pre-session questionnaire. This will allow me to get a sense of how you experience your cycle and what areas you are keen to work on. We will then meet via zoom (or face to face if you are local) and we will set your intention for the session/s.

Some of the methods I will use to support you are; - menstrual cycle awareness - charting - ways to nourish the menstrual ecosystem - self-care tools and tips - menstrual journey work

- Understanding the phases of the menstrual cycle, using different frameworks.

What I can do

I can use my 20 years worth of experience to help you make the changes you want to see in your life, using your menstrual cycle as an anchor.

I can support you to make changes that can have really positive impacts on the menstrual cycle, and therefore your overall wellbeing.

I can use menstrual journey work to start to address how your rites of passage have been impacted by menstrual shame and beliefs. This narrative approach helps us to draw a link between the past and the present, and create a bridge to the future.

I can work with women of all ages, in all stages of life, from pre-pubescent girls to post menopausal women. I can also work with women who do not have a current menstrual cycle. Please contact me if you have any queries about this.

I can recommend other practitioners if I feel that you require a different type of specialist to support you.

What I can't do

I am not certified in hormone health so I cannot diagnose menstrual or hormonal imbalances or prescribe medical advice.

I am not qualified to educate on fertility awareness methods.

I don't guarantee that we will be able to fix the challenges you are experiencing.
